Our End of the Year School Party

We had a GREAT time at our year end party!! We've made it through our first year of Home Schooling! What an unexpected turn it was when we felt the nudge towards home school. I had no idea what fun and what precious moments this year had in store for us! Here are HC and JB waiting for Mommy to put down the camera and SWIM!!!! (We were taking a photo break.) This was what they did before I got in the pool! They held on for dear life in hopes that I would hurry up!
Before long - HC was swimming away like she did this all her life. She was even doing tricks.
JB was so brave swimming alone!! He too found his fins!
They loved this party so much! We ordered pizza brought snacks and drinks and played!!! HC thought it was so nice of us to share our food with everyone. Even better that they shared too! :)
A sample of the fun from a distance! HC now knows these buddies are our school friends!! It is a little different than her friends who go to school. They see each other every day for 9 or 10 months, then rarely see each other for 2 or 3 months. All of these families are a part of our lives! How blessed we are!

Time to go home!! Did I mention that this day was overcast, breezy and highs in the 60's. The pool was slightly warm but not REAL warm. We rarely swim in a real pool like this one, so my kiddos were glad to tolerate the cold temps.
