Imagination

I love to see my two little ones get into the imagination flow! When I see a soccer ball, they see a BIG ice cream! The BIGGEST ice cream ever actually! I wonder when I miss seeing the BIG things God wants to show me! I am too busy focusing on the obvious and miss the Bigger picture sometimes. I pray I will become more sensitive to God's nudges! He wants to show me more than is naturally seen. I am willing! I want my vision to be clear and more in tune with the things of God! I don't want to miss a thing He has planned for me!

I pray the same for my life as well. God has really been working on me about this exact point for over a year now. It is so easy to get caught up in the everyday mundane and miss that we are in process to become who God has designed us to be. Don't miss the journey by being blinded by the destination. My pastor just preached on all this last night. Good word here and last night :o).. Love ya

so true! I find myself many times looking back on the day reflecting on the things I did like four loads of clothes, fixing breakfast while at the same time getting children dressed for school, making sure I didn't miss brushing their teeth again, and quickly looking in the booksack because I forgot to do it the night before, then once they leave I focus on the toddlers and lunch and snacks and diaper changes, then naptime, snacks again all while trying to cook supper and trying to take a breath from disciplining them for the 100th time today and before I know it they are tucked in bed and then it hits me.....when did I take the time today to see what God wanted me to see?! And it seems alot I ask God to please help me be a better Mommy to them tomorrow and He is faithful and reminds me to stop and enjoy the small things in their life. Praise God for the nudging and reminding of the Holy Spirit!!
