Here is my latest accomplishment on the sewing front. I made my daughter's Easter dress. It is fun to sew for her because she gets so excited. She quickly tells her Sunday School teacher, 'My mommy made my dress.' It is so fun to hear her squeal once I have finally finished the item. If it isn't ready she asks, 'Is it still broken mommy? I know you can do it! You are the best mommy ever.' Who can resist sewing with that response? She definitely has a spirit of encouragement and I love it when she is spontaneous with her praise. Especially when she encourages her little brother for his achievements! Those are my good moments - priceless!!

That is awesome!! You are doing such a great job with the sewing and what an added blessing that it has become a bonding thing between you and your daughter. That makes me so happy for you.
The bonding factor is definitely an added, unexpected gift!! I love it!
Melodye, how awesome! Very beautiful dress. I have to use the super easy patterns because I usually have a toddler or two in the middle of "my space" while sewing so my dresses are quick easy! Can't wait to see more.
The only way I had time to sew that dress was by taking a class! haha Otherwise, I am limited to only sewing during the kids naps or at night when Steve is home to help me! I cannot imagine when you find time to sew anything!
