I love the way my son talks. He talks like a normal toddler, alot of words that are butchered and only HC and Mommy can understand. My son has had one fun little speaking quirk ever since he has been able to talk. What happens is, he is talking normal and playing and then I ask him a question. He answers me with a deep voice and says things like "Ok Mom, I will." or "I coming" or really any answer is in this deep voice. He really makes me laugh. Where did this come from? How does he know he is a little man and men have deep voices? I am telling you - he has done this from day one of talking. I have to say, I am in love with my little man!! He makes me smile!
Yesterday we were at the park and I was trying to keep him with our play group. I found him on the other side, (the park is fenced in) within the fence, but by the big towers. He was alone because he lost track of his buddies. He wasn't scared or concerned. He was just playing until he saw me and then he said, (with enthusiasm, deep voice and a sing song voice) "My Mom!" I just melt when he greets me this way because that is MY BOY! He is such a riot! Tons of fun, adventurous and a delight. I can't get enough of him!!
His latest thing is to pretend he is a puppy and lick us. I know it is gross but I think it is so adorable. He doesn't lick strangers and he only does this when in 'puppy mode' but I think everything he does is amazing. I love how he is so agreeable and will take the sippy cup that HC refuses. I also love the way he is beginning to cry when I put yellow shorts on him. I love how he stands up for things he just doesn't like. He is beginning to be JB. He is showing us the inner thoughts of JB and that makes me smile.
I love how he has my heart but he is so different from HC. I am also in major love with my HC, I will share that on another post. My favorite thing with my kids is seeing them play together and laugh together and when they take care of each other. They are so young and seeing them do these things unprovoked makes my heart BIG! I am just crazy in love with my sweet babies and they aren't babies anymore. I don't know what more they could do to make me proud of them. I feel like I have so much bragging material already. I am a blessed Mommy!

How adorable!! I was really amazed at JB the last time I saw him too. How much he is showing his interest in things like balls. I still laugh how excited he was over his ball tee shirt at the picnic.
How cute! My niece is 3 and she pretends she's "Scratchy" the dog all the time! It's so funny.

I can echo everything in this post. I am maddly in love with these kids! When JB talks in his deep voice, he furrows his brow to let you know how serious he takes talking like a man. They are a reflection of everything you are doing and you are doing it RIGHT! You always have their best interests in mind. You are a great mommy raising great kids! Love you bunches.
That deep voice thing is hilarious! I do wonder how they come up with those things!
