Well, we called a different A/C guy today and it was a much better scenario. I really could not believe the guy yesterday didn't even bother to charge our A/C unit, with freon, to tide us over the weekend. I was amazed as he left. I was there with 2 toddlers and he just left us in the heat. The landlord FINALLY decided to do something from her end and she called another company for a 2nd opinion.
The new A/C guy came and took down our information. He then proceeded to tell us our unit was under warranty. Something the other guy left out when he asked for over $2,500 (almost the price of a new unit) for a single part. The new guy offered to charge our unit with freon and within an hour, our home was cooler than it has been the 2 months we've lived here. I do not think the other guy charged it fully on his last visit. Anyway, we have air conditioning again as of 10 am this morning. I cannot tell you how draining it is to be hot constantly. It is miserable.
Thanks to all of you who offered up prayers and kind thoughts. We are having a much better day today. I will catch you up on the fun we had this week on my next post. We DID have fun in spite of our icky circumstances.

So been thinking about you guys. I hope you got my note about your award on my blog. I love you dearly and appreciate you more than ever after reading your last few posts. God is faithful and we know His eye is on the sparrow and we know He cares for YOU!
Oh, thank goodness you guys have that A/C working now. I remember the days of no A/C in the summer -- not fun at all.
