First we met Mrs. Candy, the hygienist.
Then Mrs. Candy let HC feel the 'tooth counter' on her finger.
HC looked in the handy dandy mirror.
Then Mrs. Candy counted those toothies!
She polished them.
Mr. Thirsty took the yuckies out of HC's mouth.
JB watching to make sure all was well as Mrs. Candy put the vitamins on her teeth.
HC showing us her sparkly clear teeth. She has been very concerned that they not get dirty now.

Her tooth care kit (along with a googly eye ring she chose out of the treasure chest.).
Later in the day I found HC using her floss. She is an eager student. Once she learns the importance of things she gives her all to it!
This was the story of HC's first trip to the dentist. Hopefully all will go as smooth when JB is due his check-up!

What a good patient. When I was dental assisting I had a child or two bite my finger. BRATS! (just kidding) I remember doing the "tooth counter" too.

Awwww, my kids had the greatest dentist. I loved him! This is just so fun to remember those days. How sweet HC looks. Thanks for sharing...you made this mom feel warm all inside as she remembered a memory from longggggg ago.

Go HC!!! We also had a great first experience and Josiah talked about his dentist for about a month afterwards! I am glad she enjoyed it. I bet JB will do well because he's seen his big sis do it now. :)
