JB and HC enjoying the park with their friends. JB is checking out his new wound, he fell as soon as we arrived and skinned his knee. HC brought her sweet Gigi and found it difficult to play and carry her baby along. The trials of motherhood. At one point she gave her baby to two of her friends, they were boys. And as boys will be they were willing to help, but not as HC expected. She gave them her baby and they gently carried her doll across the playground to the other slide and put her doll down near that slide. She saw them leave Gigi and she about ran over to rescue Gigi. (I must mention we moms were in hysterics watching this little drama unfold.) She later told me that 'Siah and Xander left Gigi and Gigi was scared and crying for her.
HC pushing Gigi on the swing (after the slide incident). Notice the scowl. heehee We then decided that Gigi should rest in the car so that HC could play.
JB climbing on things not intended to climb.
See! This was the rail, not an item meant for climbing.
HC climbing. She is normally too nervous to climb these things. She was very brave and climbing like a champ this time.
My HC is such a sweet heart!!

Fun! I love the doll story--Little girls learning to be mommies! I find my granddaughter's dolls (the ones that live at my house) all tucked in with their blankets in the strangest places after she has been here.
Looks like a fun day! Your kids are so darn cute!
What a fun day! The pics are great!
Is it cooling down there some? Looks like a beautiful day at the park! Love the Gigi story!!
Your little ones are such cuties!!
Momma Roar, no - unfortunately, the weather isn't cooling down. It was a cool breezy morning for us while at the park but the temps are still in the high 80 or low 90's here. :(
HC keeps asking when she will see snow and I cannot bring myself to tell her she will not see it here. She is expectedly waiting for snow.
I think that's the cutest little scowl! Your kids are adorable!
i still haven't braved the park. i hate the heat, and my kids don't care how hot it is. i need to just suck it up and go sweat for the sake of the children. once again, you inspire me, melodye.
Tallie,
We never went to the park when we lived in BR either!! It was so hot!! Even though it is hot here, we are not as hot (or often) as it is BR. We had a hot summer but otherwise we have fun at the park whenever we can. It helps that the parks are actually nice and clean here. There are always moms at the park. Something I never saw in BR, even with our yard backed up to the park. :)
Cute pictures. Don't you love the park?
What a fun day. The weather looks great and the kids look so adorable!
She's so cute in that hat!!
That baby doll doesn't look too safe -- HA! :)
Loved the pics.
