So... here's the scene - we were giving the kids their 'shower' yesterday evening and my daughter wanted out and fast! We usually bathe them and wash their hair via a shower and then they take a bubble bath. Lately HC has wanted to have 'girl private' and take her shower alone, but last night she just didn't want one at all. So we make her bathe and wash her hair and then she gets out. So my son didn't want bubbles, he wanted to stay in the shower with his duck. My son is notorious for touching the water flow and making it hot/cold by doing so.
My husband was helping HC get dried off and dressed and I was on JB duty. I decided I would step out for a second and grab my tea when we hear the most awful, fear filled scream I've ever heard from my son. Both hubby and I make it to the bathroom at the same time to find JB had jumped out of the shower but within the shower curtain - still screaming a delirious scream. We thought he was burned for sure but .. he wasn't. Wanna know what it was.... he had his first poop in the shower! Boy was I glad HC was out of there before that happened. JB wouldn't sit down because ... the frogs might bite his butt!!! Are you laughing yet?? He thought his poop was a frog. hahahahhaha Does anyone think this will affect his potty training?? :) I hope not!
When my son is older he just may hate me for sharing this little story! I had to take that chance!

That was so funny. He'll get use to POOP stoies when he older. My son is 43 and now his daughters tell them too.
When he was three we moved into a new house. Well my sister was helping with the move and was cleaning the bathrooms in the house. My son came running in saying "Sissy Sissy (what he called my sister) I gotta POOP....Well my Sis tells him to go to the garage,because she was cleaning. Later that day we discovered POOP in the middle of the garage floor( and I do mean right in the middle)......Joe didn't know we had a bathroom in the garage. This is just one of many poop stories. My twin granddaughters are 12 now and always want to hear the funny stories about their Dad. Write these stories down.....You may want to use them for black mail later.....You know high school,College, girldfriends or wife..Ha Ha HeeHee.

This isn't a family tradition exactly! haha This is our first bath tub poop in our little family. My brother did have a poop incident when he was younger but this was our first! haha Glad to say it was the first ever that we've encountered.
The clean up was minimal. Great thing about tub poops is... the toilet is right there. Get rid of the evidence, flush and scrub the tub! Not bad at all! haha Could you imagine if it escaped in bath water instead of the shower! Ewww!! That may have made the task of catch/release more eventful. :)
