Mary at NotBefore7 is hosting Tiny Talk Tuesday. Please head over to her great blog to see more TTT participants!
My tiny talkers are HC - our 4 year old daughter and JB - our 2.5 year old son! Enjoy!
HC: Look Mom, I'm standing on the clock! (She had found the scale!)
JB: Close you eyes. Close you eyes Mom. You count to nen (ten). Then I go hide in covers and you find me. Count to nen!
We took the kids outside to play a little. It was FINALLY a cloudy day and we did not get sweaty for about 20 minutes after going outside. This was much better than sweating because you dared to open the door. Anyway, the kids were outside, in the backyard, playing a little golf with dad and I hear,
HC: I've got my peter dad! I've got my peter! It's my turn.
Dad: It's a putter HC, not a peter.
HC: Oh. I've got my putter now. It's my turn.
I took the kids to a local indoor space walk place. They also have video games and skeet ball. The works. As we were getting ready to leave, JB finds a game and starts 'playing' it. Then I hear,
JB: I need coins Mom. I need some coins for my game!

Too cute! Children are such a blessing!

Oh they are so darn cute.
I love that, " I got my peter"
Instead of putter.
Oh so funny.
I've finally posted mine too.
Come over and check it out when you get a chance.
These were so cute. I loved the hide and seek conversation. It is just so nice to record something like that - an everyday conversation and the way they say it. Cute!
Thanks for participating.
So cute! I love to hear what comes out of their mouths!
I love the simplicity of childhood...and they certainly will say exactly what they mean!
Thanks for stopping by my site. It is always enjoyable to "meet" another mom that loves her kids, enjoys her family and is dedicated to Him. I'm also intrigued that you are fans of the NY Yankees and living in the south! We are NY fans through and through...but our excuse is that's where we are from!
Thanks for posting a comment on my blog today!
My favorite was "standing on the clock!" I laughed out loud at that one! That is so funny!
Take care,
Lisa
Kids learn to ask for money way to young! I'm glad I am not alone.
My favorite was "standing on the clock!" That one made me laugh out loud. Very funny.

Wow, your 2.5 yr old talks pretty good, huh?
LOL!!! My goodness did I have a laugh!! Too funny!!!
I remember when R was not even a year old and she watched the wizard of oz...she tried to say bad witch, but instead combined the 2 words together and said another word...I'll let you figure out the word;)
