Here are a few questions or comments my daughter has made around the house lately!
1. Do you get tired of driving everywhere mom? (This was after we had been running many errands and we were in the van once again that day.)
2. Is this your Disney channel Mom? (I was watching Lifetime I think.)
3. I'm going to go smell Mom's clothes. They smell like her. C'mon brother, let's go smell Mom's clothes. (They were going to smell the fresh laundry I was laying out to dry.)
4. We were in the van and listening to the "Wheels on the bus" song, and it just clicked for HC. She realized WE have wheels on the van too, and WE have wipers that go swish too, etc. It was a neat moment!
5. We were eating dinner at Chili's the other night and my daughter dropped her cup and the sprite splashed on her seat a little bit. As a result, her panties were a tiny bit wet. This is not good news in our world. HC demands dry undies immediately and when the waitress returns... she does it, she ordered a pair of clean big girl panties. Luckily, the waitress has a 4 year old and understood!
Overheard this conversation this morning:
HC : Eww.
JB: What is it stister (sister)?
HC: Eww.
JB: It's me JB.
JB was walking to his room butt-naked, from being in the shower.
And finally, since we've moved I have found a great little nugget of wisdom that I thought I would share with you. If you want to cut back on computer time - put your computer at a spot in the house with an uncomfortable chair! :)

Your wisdom is so right on. I used to have my computer downstair where it was cold. I used it much less. Now that I have a lap top I find it so much easier to haul it out any time I feel moved...not always so good. Being home alone I find it lonely and reading blogs fills time while I do laundry and my housework. I just need to keep a good balance with my reading of the Word and my prayer life.
I love your kids :)
Your daughter sounds like TONS of fun!
They are so cute!
I try at least use the laptop as much I can - to be in the same room with the kids...
uncomfortable chair - got it! I took a quiz yesterday that says I'm 80% addicted to blogging - oops. It can't be right, can it?
This was a cute post and the post below is absolutely adorable - pictures, story and all! They grow up too fast, don't they?
By the way, the colors are PERFECT! I think we were seperated at birth!!
I have a laptop too but since we've moved, I decided to keep it stationary on the breakfast bar. So I am stuck sitting on a non-cushioned stool. OUCH! I use a pillow at times but then that just reminds me that I must have been there a while, so I feel the urge to step away from the computer. :) Before - I was way too comfortable and therefore - I was online way too much. This is just my way of monitoring myself - a sore bum = get up and do something!
I'm going to pretend that I did not just read that bit of advice!
Fun-NEE!
