Lori aka Glass Half Full is hosting a fun post today! She is asking us to share a picture of where we eat with our families. Whether it be at a table or not. Well, our table has seen better days. It is in dire need of TLC but it still works. We are getting ready to move in a few weeks and I am SO looking forward to leaving the mirrored wall in this photo behind! It has caused many frustrations laughs for us. My daughter LOVES to look at herself while she eats talks about eating her dinner/lunch/breakfast. My son eats his meal with little struggle but HC gets caught up in.. well, HC! It is funny! She has to constantly be prodded to eat and not look at herself. We have had many laughs at this table and we have really enjoyed spending this priceless time with one another!
I must admit, I miss our old tables, this picture makes me a little melancholy. We could not bring all of our furniture when we moved here because there wasn't room. There are several pieces of furniture we donated and gave to family and our table, entertainment center and sofa are pieces I really miss. We did make the right decision but knowing we let go of pieces we love makes me sad sometimes. It is only furniture and what counts is we helped others in need!

Oh my goodness, I thought the table cloth was so cheery and bright!!! And the mirror....what a hoot!!!
Thanks for participating!! :)
Lori
that picture of the kids at the table is precious!
Moving??? Still staying in the area, I hope?!
How fun!
I will have to check out lori's blog too.
We are moving across town. We weren't sure how long we would be here at first, so we are in a Townhome now. It is time to get back into a house. I do not enjoy living this close to anyone!! :) We are used to a yard and driveway. There is nothing like having a back yard when you have little ones!
Your table is decorated really nice and the picture of the kids around it is wonderful..
I couldn't agree with you more about living that close to someone and the back yard for the kids.
Hope you have a happy and easy move.
The table looks very inviting! Very cute pic of the kids!
That mirror and your daughter getting distracted in it is hilarious. My girls wouldn't get any eating done. I love the pictures.
My daughter would be just like yours. She would have a hard time eating next to that mirror. She could spend hours of mealtime admiring herself! How funny. Best wishes for your move!
My kids would be the same way w/the mirror too.
I hope you have a good move.
Yeah, that mirror would cause me problems too! LOL! I love seeing where everyone lives. :-) Come see mine.
I love the table cloth! And wish you the best with your move!

Thanks for visiting, trust me pictures don't show the wear & tear my husband tells me "maybe you should paint the chairs and table a new color". Just so we don't have to buy a new set, nice try.
Love it that you put the children in the picture such cute kids!
Too funny about the mirror. My oldest likes to look at himself in the mirror, too.
Good luck with your move. I know that a short move is still a move and lots of work. We have moved 5 times in 6 years (My husband is prior military). Now we bought our first home and I hope we can stay still for a while!!
I don't think mealtime would ever be over if the boys could stare at themselves while eating!!
Good luck on the move.
Your kids are so cute! I'm making a mental note: girls, dinner and a mirror's don't mix well. Thanks for that tip. :) I enjoyed your post! Thanks for sharing!
